The 6LTAA8.9 diesel engine belongs to the Cummins L Series 8.9-liter platform, a close sibling to the celebrated M11 engine series, sharing the same bore design with a shorter stroke.
Featuring an inline 6-cylinder configuration, turbocharging, air-to-air aftercooling, and a fully electronic control system, the 6LTAA8.9 delivers excellent power density, strong low-speed torque, and stable performance under demanding operating conditions.
